How old is the palm pixi

Another negative to the phone is if you see something that you want to take a picture of, you may miss it because the phone is slow. It takes it a few minutes to actually restart or power up and almost a full minute to move from app to app. Its operates like a computer in my opinion. I do love my pixi though, and it works for me. I am probably one of the least tech-savvy year olds out there.

I refused to buy touchscreen anything or smartphones in the past because it's too much for me to handle I like my T9 texting. However, after reading the reviews for this phone I thought I'd give it a try. It's definitely worth the 40 or 50 bucks. It's small, but very easy to use. The initial tutorial they provide was kind of essential for me to understand how to use the phone.

But after that it was a breeze. The phone voice quality is great, no one sounds fuzzy. It gets good reception. I don't use apps or internet but it connected to the internet easily when I did try it out. The buttons are very small , but I got use to it in about two or three days. Definitely recommend this for someone who wants a basic smartphone. Skip to main content.

It was back to "drag and drop" for syncing your music. In stark contrast to Apple's minimalist iPhone commercials, Palm ran a unique and strange commercial for the Pre. Everyone hated it. Just weeks after Verizon, the nation's second-largest carrier at the time , picked up the Palm Pre and Pixi a new candybar style WebOS phone , Palm announced that the devices weren't selling so well. In March , there's still nobody making apps for the Palm Pre. The Pre Plus a sequel and Pixi are also on the table.

Pundits agree that a platform cannot succeed without apps, which are quickly becoming the "killer feature" of iOS. In April of , HP announced that it would buy Palm and inherit its hardware and software business. I think the average smartphone buyer is looking for a few things in a device — a touchscreen, 3G networking, and, ideally, some alternative form of transfer. Either they wanted to bury this news in the Apple event today or they foolishly thought this would overshadow the event. WebOS is a contender but with phones like the Hero and the Tattoo appearing on the horizon and HTC really taking a a hard look at its competitors — and eating them — Palm may be barking up the wrong tree.
