Collaboration with Loreal. Now that my little one is weaning, I find it very time consuming to cook everyday - which is what I did for two and a half months. Instead, I now make enough for 2 portions, store it and put it in the fridge - ready for tomorrow. This has saved me so much time and instead, allows me more play time with my little one. Invest in a portable changing mat.
Like the one in my video below, this has done wonders in terms of being prepared and organised. No longer am I rummaging through my bag looking for the nappy, and the wipes, then the disposable changing mat. A portable changing mat allows you to have everything in one place, just make sure it's a wipe clean one for convenience.
Plan the night before. Write a checklist. From things you have to do the next day to that supermarket shop. Mummy brain is no joke so waking up with a clear mind and day ahead already planned is important. There are tonnes of notepads out there that cater for this but if you're not fussy like me, a good old pen and notepad will do.
I've already wrote down my checklist for our holiday next month. Carry a bottle of Aptamil Follow-on Milk with you. Aidens not drinking a lot of follow on milk during the day, since he's on three meals of solids but he still needs his daily intake.
He's rather fussy too, carrying these bottles ensure I have follow on milk ready to drink immediately. Keep a spare set of everything in your car! I can't tell you how many times I have arrived at a destination to realise I have left something. In my boot I always have spare blankets, one thick and one thin, UK weather changes super quick.
Spare toys, teethers, pacifiers, wet wipes and nappies. This way, I am always prepared. Theres nothing worse than not being prepared, motherhood itself is pretty demanding and the last thing you want is a headache. Join in and share tips and tricks on being prepared. In partnership with Aptamil Follow-On Milk.
I can't even believe I'm about to type this Aiden is one! I know every parent says this BUT where has the time gone?! It really does feel like yesterday when I announced my pregnancy and here I am sat, watching him walking around like a little man.
His birthday fell on a Tuesday so he had a 3 day birthday. He had a kiddie party on Sunday with all of his little friends, a family dinner on Monday and Tuesday was spent opening presents. He is a VERY lucky boy, from blowing the candle to having everyone singing happy birthday to him, his face was priceless. You'd think I vlogged the entire 3 days right? I didn't. I wanted to be 'in the moment' rather than viewing everything through a lens. Sometimes we are so focused on holding a camera and looking at the frame when really, we should appreciate and 'experience' it properly.
Above are just a small amount of pictures we took, there are more I need to find time to edit. Not sure when that will happen but I hope you enjoy the ones I have already sorted. Vlogmas has started! This year I decided to upload vlogmas on my main channel instead of my vlog channel.
The reason being I simply can't keep up with two channels, especially when I am required to log every day. December is a very busy month already and the last thing I want is to feel stressed over uploading vlogs. If you fancy following us during our crazy December then click below and enjoy watching! Before you head online or step foot to the shops, it's important to make a list. When you're faced with a multitude of brands and products, it can be very overwhelming and if you're like me, more than often it puts me off and I end up with nothing.
This will narrow it down, give you the exact brands you need to look at and stop you wandering around like a headless chicken whilst asking 'do you think she'll like this? Shop Online. Instead of finding THAT car park space quite impossible I know , queuing for the tills or even worse, being elbow bashed amongst the hustle and bustle - shop online.
Shopping online is a no brainer really as it will save you so much time. The other morning I bought 8 presents in the space of 15 minutes. If thats not called time saving, I don't know what is! Now that you have an idea of where to look and even better, if you know exactly what you need to buy - stock check it. If you do prefer to do it the traditional way and go outdoors for shopping then many online retailers now offer a option to check availability online.
If this is not an option, give the store a quick call and if they do have it, kindly ask them to put it on hold. This will avoid dissapointment and more importantly save yourself some time.
In collaboration with Birchbox. How was your Christmas? I hope it was wonderful. Oh January Sales Last week I had a spare 30 minutes to ponder around the shops. Walking past River Island, a shop I don't often take notice of - I saw these babies on the sale rack, by the door, staring straight at me.
Upon trying them on, I knew straight away I had to have them. They're bloody gorgeous and the best part was Yup, you read write, these real leather shoes are a real bargain and well, you know.
Marble print? Definitely my bargain of the month. I believe they still have some in stock HERE. New Year New me? Gym 3X a week? I'm old enough to know that those type of resolutions don't last, we don't change overnight. But here are some resolutions I think I can keep on top of. Sleep less. Ok, I don't mean actually sleep less, I'm still working, a full time mum and a housewife if that sounds possible - so I need all the sleep I can get but what I need to do is stay out of bed unless it's bedtime.
I quite often find myself taking afternoon naps when Aiden does. It eats into my day and throws me off my productiveness. I shall stop doing that. Be more positive. I am a realist, I don't like to sprinkle glitter over everything. I find myself pro-longing the shit moments though. If I have a shit start to the day, I feel shitty for the rest of the day. Instead I need to take it in, snap out of it and move on. Edit Profile. Suzi Tse is a popular Instagram star from the United Kingdom.
